Our 3.30 AM Wake Up Call

My girls kicked off early this morning, No 2 is teething very badly so she is letting the rest of the family know how much it hurts, No 1 started because she was being woke up by No 2 so at 4:30 after settling down No 1, I was perched on one side of my bed, my wife on the other with No 2 in the middle stretched out and fast asleep leaving us awake to make sure we didn’t squash her :( .

Absent Friends

I think about my best friend who I lost over 10 years ago, he is sometimes in my dreams as if he had never died and when I ask him about it, he acts slightly strange and says it was all a mistake but I know this is my way of dealing with the grief even after so long, he would be 31 now.

Will Smith - The Last Man On Earth Vibe - I Liked It

I have just watched I Am Legend and I thought that this would be just another Will Smith blockbuster with lots of effects and no story but I was wrong and I highly recommend this film, it is one of the best post apocalyptic films I have seen, it has been produced very well.

Our First Family Christmas At Home

It was great, the whole day really centred around the girls opening their presents and making sure they had a fun day, my wife’s cooking was great and the whole day was stress free as we didn’t have to go or be anywhere but at home, the only thing was I had to take the tree down as I didn’t want to tell the girls off any more for pulling the decorations off.

My Only Christmas Eve Tradition

Well I finished work at lunch and now I am going down the pub for a few hours to play cards and see my friends and then I will come home and get all of the presents ready for the girls tomorrow which I am quite looking forward to.

The Fog On The Fens

We all went out for a drive today to look at a couple of houses we liked and we went down a track that ended up in a field and by the time we had turned around to go back up the track, the fog had came in over the countryside like out of one of those dodgy horror remakes and depicted below (internet picture as I didn't have my camera on me at the time but very true to life), very spooky.

My Lazy Day

Today was just a nothing day really, my wife let me have a lie in and then she wrapped the last of the Christmas Presents as well as make some fairy cakes, we watched TV, played with the girls and fed them (tea was a disaster as most of the pasta in sauce ended up every but their mouths lol), watched a few Christmassy food programs and that was about it but sometimes it’s good to have lazy day don’t you think?

The Santa Clause Connection

We went early because the big guy was in demand this time of year and I didn’t want to queue up for ages so there was a ride on the sleigh, lots of Christmassy lights and fake snow and then they met him and they were a little nervous but no crying, he said it was the 40th set of twins he had seen this year, everyone came away happy with a pic, a present and a baby xmas tree :)

I have a glass of whiskey to hand, I feel chilled out, I am going to go to bed and have a restful sleep with no interruptions and I am going to wake up in the morning full of Christmas spirit ready to spend a day with my family with a cameo from Santa in the morning.

Santa Meet The Twins, Twins This Is Santa

I have a day off on Friday and we are taking the girls to see Santa and It will be the first time they have met in person (we have shown them the big guy on TV) so I am wondering, will they get on, will he freak them out so much that they will fear Christmas from that point on, we shall see.

Sick Of Advertisement On The Internet

Pop ups, pop unders, banners, shaking banners, adsense, flash advertisements, I’m the millionth person, win this, make money here, buy this, buy that, shoot the duck, dunk the guy, I am sick of it all but I think my brain is now ignoring most of it and just looking at the screen for content that I actually want to see which is why there will never be a single advertisement on this blog ever.
